I have been dyeing my own hair ever since I made the decision to revert back to my natural hair and I love it. I have not used many colors but I have enjoyed the process and here are some reasons to dye your own hair at home.
Commuting back and forth from the hairdresser will be very time consuming. Traffic seems to be increasing every single year and once you are in the car, you can do nothing more than wait for the traffic to disperse and be patient during the drive. But when you stay home and dye your hair, just think about the many things you can do while you are home.
While your hair is in process of dyeing, you can work from home, or perhaps spend time paying bills, or catching up on some chores. My pet peeve is wasting time, because it is so valuable. Once its gone you can never get the time back.I often use this moment to prepare various foods, so that my family's meal will be ready by dinner time, edit videos, or review emails, or create a podcast.
When you schedule an appointment to have your hair dyed you may spend anywhere from $50 or higher. By doing it yourself, you may spend less than $15! That is quite a savings when you look at the amount you will save in a year. It is also money that can go toward your savings.
When you are in charge of making your own schedule, you can accomplish so much more in a 24 hour period. By dyeing your hair at home, you can be on your own time, choosing what you want to do next on your schedule in hope of reaching your daily goals.
Me time is required to allow you to maintain some peace and quiet. You don't have to get dressed, listen to gossip, or spend time talking during your service. You can just sit back, grab a smoothie, your essential oils, and relax while your hair dyes.
